BRITAIN’S Got Talent auditions got off to a great start in Cardiff today (Thurs) with an unusual act involving three men and a wheelchair.

Hundreds of excited Britain’s Got Talent fans queued for up to five hours outside the New Theatre, Cardiff City Centre, to catch a glimpse of the show’s celebrity judges and presenters as they arrived for two days of Welsh auditions.

Presenters Ant and Dec received screams from across the street as they filmed the start of the show and the crowd cheered as judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan arrived.

A spokeswoman for the show said Cardiff had some unusual talents particularly the act with three men and a wheelchair. She wouldn’t reveal any more but said Cardiff fans who hadn’t seen the auditions would have to wait until the show is aired in April before finding out more.

Sam Harper, 28, a travel agent who had travelled all the way from Devon to watch the auditions, said: “I was queuing here since 9am this morning, it was freezing but I was really excited.

“Me and my family have travelled to Cardiff for the last two years to see the show. We are big fans.”
